Lazy Day Friday

The boys and I spent most of the day (minus that part where I cleaned during Ethan's first nap) being lazy at the house. Timmy came in tonight with a head cold and is really not feeling well, so we have just laid around for the most part, today. Here are some shots of today's action:

Any time you see a picture of Noah and this is the face he has on, it is because all of the others I take right as he closes his eyes. This is his "Noah, keep your eyes wide open for the camera" face:

Ethan the Cowboy made his way from his bedroom to the kitchen on his stallion. Right now, his horse has no name. I know it won't be too long until all of his animals have very interesting names, like his brother's animals.

Christmas Picture CHAOS

"Attention! Boys! We are going to have a great Christmas picture shoot of you two in your sweaters for our Christmas cards this year!"

Why do I often find myself asking Noah what he has done with his brother?
Okay, so when you get this picture on your Christmas card just know that we attempted to shoot the picture in very handsome sweaters...that just did not go as well as the pajamas. And I figured out how to get the date off the pictures AFTER this picture was made. GRRRRR

Bath Time Hair-Dos

Noah and Ethan have been enjoying styling each other's hair tonight:

However, Ethan looks more like a child from Who-Ville.

Brothers

The boys are back at home from a fun night and Sunday with Poppa and Nanna (or the "spring .chicken" as Noah calls her). Ethan was very tired and our first attempt at Christmas pictures was unsuccessful. Hopefully we will have better luck tomorrow night. I have been thinking about all of the things Noah and Ethan have gone through this past year. A year ago I felt that Noah was never going to get used to having Ethan around and that he would never learn to love Ethan. Now, I see that Noah has adjusted to life with Ethan and can hardly remember what it was like before we had 2 boys. Their bond grows every day...whether it is knocking each other upside the head, or loving each other. They are always together. The first thing each one does in the morning when he wakes up is look for the other. Below are some pictures of the 2 that I love over the past couple of months. Maybe I will have Christmas pictures to post tomorrow night...we shall see...

Hired Help

Well, maybe not hired...but helpful! Do you remember this summer I posted about Noah helping to wash vehicles (and his bike)?

Well, Ethan has decided to chip in and sweep the floors!

This week Ethan has not felt very well. Nanna is coming tomorrow, so hopefully he will be better in the morning. Tonight, Timmy and Noah were in the Henderson Christmas parade, driving one of the vehicles from the dealership; but Ethan and I stayed home. I have a hot date Saturday night and need to get Ethan completely well, so he and Noah can spend the night with Poppa and Nanna!

Daddy's Toys

Don't you just love old toys? I mean toys that are 20 and 30 years old? We have thrown away and donated almost all of Noah's toys. They break and mess up so easily. Noah and Ethan both love playing with their Daddy's old toys. I cannot believe how well Snoopy-Dog and Santa have held up for 32 years! I am thankful that they have a daddy who took good care of his toys so that his boys could some day play with them (I am sure that was what he was thinking about when he was 2).

What Fever?

Noah had a runny nose for a couple weeks, due to the fact that we could get maybe one drop of medicine down him. Ethan has had a runny nose this week and when I got home this evening, I had to give him children's ibuprofren because he was burning up! It seems to have worked, as he has been wild since!
