Birthday Festivities!

Here's the birthday boy...

Granny brought cake since his actual birthday party was not until Friday!

We went ahead and gave him his big gift from us...Daddy picked it out and I have to say it is a pretty sweet bike!Noah just started riding without training wheels 2 weeks ago...I cannot believe he can already ride this bike! Riding is great. Stopping. Not so great.I really love how Ethan watches everything his big brother does! Here he is watching Noah ride his new bicycle for the first time.

Noah's party was great...fun was had by all, I hope! I love this picture of us! Noah's birthday cake turned out great!

Paul-Edward was on hand to help Noah blow out his candle!

Poppa could hardly contain himself with all of the excitement!

Again. Another great picture of the Nanna. She really is one hot mama! You cannot tell what she is doing, but she is actually in mid-sentence-telling Timmy NOT to take her picture!

Have I mentioned how much we-including the boys and Timmy-love Wes???!!!???
Presents were everywhere! Noah effortlessly ripped through every one!
Mommy even got in on the action! Ew. I cannot stand talking in the third person and I just did it...moving on...
Ethan is again watching his big brother open gifts...and munching on 'who knows'.

*Sigh* Sweet Aunt Laura. Gosh I love this girl! She is my favorite 21-year old on the planet! I cannot believe she is getting married on Monday! I will close now before I become even more emotional! Wedding post will be up in a few days!!!

Snow Day...Sick Day...

This is what we woke up too this morning...

Why are mommy's boots on his hands you might ask? He said he forgot his gloves!
Noah decided to make a snow angel. We really didn't have enough snow for this, but it made for a cute picture! Our day started off great! We woke up to snow and I just love my view from my back window. The above pictures are of the back and side yard.

After playing in the snow, Ethan threw up again. Let me clarify that last sentence. There was no playing in the snow for Ethan. That only happened during his naptime. He did throw up once yesterday, but we didn't make too big a deal of it as he was still running around and playing. However, he threw up again today. And did not act like he felt well. He actually let me hold him and rock him and that NEVER happens. By tonight, he was feeling much better and actually ate some. He has drank juice all day and that is really all we could do.

However, Timmy has thrown up several times today. He is off again tomorrow and already in the bed! Hopefully, tomorrow will be a better day. I have already disinfected and cleaned, so hopefully there will be no more...we shall see! Noah has been fine. He has pajama and pizza party day at school tomorrow and he is very excited about it!

We got all of Ethan's lab work back today and his protein was actually low. The nutritionist thinks we should sprinkle the Ivalex formula on his food. She also suggested adding to his milk. He is now allowed 8 oz. of whole milk a day. But the adding of medical formula? She obviously does not know Ethan very well!

That is all of the updates for now! Keep my parents in your prayers...they have no electricity or telephones...

p.s. Did anyone notice how many times I used the word 'throw up' in this post? Too many.

Christmas Picture CHAOS

"Attention! Boys! We are going to have a great Christmas picture shoot of you two in your sweaters for our Christmas cards this year!"

"Is any one listening to me at all?"

Why do I often find myself asking Noah what he has done with his brother?
Okay, so when you get this picture on your Christmas card just know that we attempted to shoot the picture in very handsome sweaters...that just did not go as well as the pajamas. And I figured out how to get the date off the pictures AFTER this picture was made. GRRRRR
