Christmas with Cousins Ava and Bella!

David had to work the day before Christmas, so he, Trina and the girls loaded up and headed to Nanna and Poppa's to have early Christmas. Everyone (including Aunt Laura and future Uncle Wes) came to our house Monday night for our Christmas between the cousins!
Aren't they all adorable!

Noah really took to the girls. He loved on them and talked to them. Ethan, however, had other ideas of how to play with the babies that did not include cuddling!

I love this picture of Noah and Bella! He just makes her laugh!

Ethan decided to get into the action. Here he is with Noah and Bella.

I love this picture! Ava looks like she is shocked at a camera!

Ava opening her fantastic gift from The Burks. (Side note: notice the Valentine's Day bag? Noah collected all of Ethan's too small socks and decided that was Ava and Bella's Christmas gift).

Gingerbread House/Sleigh Making

Timmy and Noah made another gingerbread house this year. Noah and his friend, Machaila, made the gingerbread sleigh.

Hope everyone had a merry Christmas!

Christmas Ornaments

Over the years, Timmy and I have bought/accumalted many Christmas ornaments. Below are some of my very favorites:

Disco Ball Mickey Mouse. Purchased on our honeymoon at Disneyworld in 2001.
Mayfield High School. Mayfield, KY. Class of 1997.

I bought this the Christmas we found out I was pregnant. We knew Noah was a boy on December 17, 2003.Noah got this for Daddy his first Christmas.
Noah's first Christmas ornament.

Ethan's first Christmas ornament.

Max's first Christmas.
Our family ornament. Can you believe the girl mis-spelled my name???!!!

Wildcats cooking Cardinals. Enough said.
Noah made this for us in Sunday school last year. My favorite!

Noah's Pre-School Program

Noah's Christmas program was tonight and he did great! He sang, rang his bell, and used sign-language for all his songs! Sorry for the red eyes...my camera was on the fritz tonight!

Christmas Picture CHAOS

"Attention! Boys! We are going to have a great Christmas picture shoot of you two in your sweaters for our Christmas cards this year!"

"Is any one listening to me at all?"

Why do I often find myself asking Noah what he has done with his brother?
Okay, so when you get this picture on your Christmas card just know that we attempted to shoot the picture in very handsome sweaters...that just did not go as well as the pajamas. And I figured out how to get the date off the pictures AFTER this picture was made. GRRRRR

Daddy's Toys

Don't you just love old toys? I mean toys that are 20 and 30 years old? We have thrown away and donated almost all of Noah's toys. They break and mess up so easily. Noah and Ethan both love playing with their Daddy's old toys. I cannot believe how well Snoopy-Dog and Santa have held up for 32 years! I am thankful that they have a daddy who took good care of his toys so that his boys could some day play with them (I am sure that was what he was thinking about when he was 2).
Snoopy-Dog, or "Snoop" for short-per Noah.

Today at lunch Santa and friends ate with Noah. He was beyond himself with excitement.

Hectic Week End

Is it just me, or does EVERY single picture I manage to take of the boys end up with Ethan looking like he is being squeezed to death?
You have to admit, the matching pajamas are adorable. And that is the ONLYthing that Daddy doesn't mind matching!
I still cannot get used to Ethan drinking his juice out of Noah's sippy cups. Don't ask about the milk. Hoping to break the bottle by year-end...or by the time he is 18.

Noah loves playing with Timmy's old toys. For example, our dinner guest was Timmy's toy 30 years ago.
I have almost finished Christmas shopping and gotten all of the Christmas decorations up. I am hoping to get the boys pictures for Christmas taken in front of the tree tomorrow...we will see. That may take a few days...
