Bragging Rights...

This little boy was awesome at the hospital today! The nurse could not believe how good he was! He's been getting labwork done since he was 10 days old, so he is an old pro! She said she has teenagers that act worse! We will have results in a couple of weeks...
Timmy and I surprised this big boy today and showed up at his class room to help with 'centers.' We are going to try to do this every Tuesday! We had a great time and Noah loved it! The assistant principal told me this morning that Noah is the sweetest little boy she has seen!
We are very proud of both our boys! So many people love them and show them that every day! For that, I am so thankful!!

Just Another Week...

Our lives are now being taken over by Noah's homework. No lie. Mrs. Brandi sends homework in a packet every Monday. It is due on Friday. We usually start on it on Thursday. That ended this week. We spent over 3 hours working on homework Thursday night and agreed/promised/assured each other that we will space homework out all week. However, that will still be 45 minutes of homework each night! Who knew learning to write Aa-Oo and 1-5 could be so frustrating????!!!!!

Tonight was the 2nd home game for the Chester County Eagles, and now that Noah is a student, we must show our support for our school by attending the home games! We plan on going next Friday for our first attempt at a football game with both boys...will update on how that works out!

Timmy will be 35...YES 3-5 Thursday and I am trying to think of something fun/creative to do for his birthday. He has already gotten his gift (Nike Shox that were a must have a couple of weeks ago) so I am thinking we might surprise him and actually go to Jackson for a nice dinner. Since Los Portales has opened in Henderson, we rarely venture past the city limits!

Noah has decided to start changing clothes every day, as soon as he gets home. Lately, he has been sporting the layered look. Warm up pants underneath shorts. Very cool.

The boys have been enjoying Mario Kart. Actually, Noah plays and Ethan sits beside him with his 'controller' and watches. That's about it for us! Hope everyone has a great holiday week end! We are looking forward to Poppa and Nanna being here tomorrow!

Random Beach Randomness...

Maybe one day I will learn how to create a slideshow and post on my blog. For now, here are several more beach pics...
Ethan finally enjoyed playing in the sand...that's Noah's feet in the sand behind him...
Don't you just love Princess Bella's bikini?? LOVE IT!!
Noah loves ice cream. 'Nuff said.

Noah also loves his cousins first birthday party!

Ethan had a great time in Nanna's salon!

Princess Ava loved her birthday cake!

Here is Ethan playing with one of the girl's toys.
Noah is doing a great job explaining to Ava how to play with her new pig!
Princess Bella enjoying her cake!

Happy birthday Ava and Bella!
Notice how red Ethan's cheeks are? He was burning up on the dolphin tour! This picture is after his melt-down because he did not want to wear a life jacket. Notice they let him take it off.
Sweet Noah on the dolphin tour. No fit pitched by him! Here he is dutifully wearing his life jacket!
This is what Daddy did on the dolphin tour.
Ethan wearing Daddy's cap.

Another salon shot. Nanna in action in the background!
Hope you enjoyed the quick post!

Action Shots

Hmmm....I know my brother is swimming in the pool behind me...what can I do to amuse myself?

This water looks so pretty and clear. Let me get a closer look.

Yep. I am drinking it.

Sarah-did you totally freak out just now?

Here is adorable Noah. Pre-swim.
Total action shot. I am really proud of this one!!! He is swimming under water, floating, backwards floating and learned this all by himself!
*Laura's wedding pics will be posted soon!*

Why I Love Spring...

I have really missed Timmy grilling...I am SO glad he has grilled the past couple of nights!
Noah loves his treehouse...I love the fact that a great friend let us have it for F-R-E-E!
Yes...he is a ham.

Ethan loves the treehouse, too!

The boys...We have had a very busy week! We had an open-house at Noah's new school Tuesday night and met the kindergarten teachers and toured his school. When one teacher asked Noah if he was ready for school he said, "No." When she asked him if he liked his pre-school he said, "No." *Sigh*
We are headed to KY in the morning to celebrate Mother's Day with Nanna. I am really looking forward to hanging out with she and Aunt Laura!
Oh-and by the way-if you are wondering why it has been so long since my latest entry? My newest obsession:
And...

I am a total addict...

We Are Training Wheel-less!!!!

While Ethan was hanging out in his 'car'...

Noah and Daddy were practicing riding without training wheels!
Great action shot!
Noah really did a great job!
First, registration for kindergarten. Now riding without training wheels! Next. Driving???!!!!
p.s. I made it to the parking lot before I cried after registration.

Another Week Gone By...Etc...

I'm going to try and update you guys, all my followers :), on what all has been going on in our little lives this week! First and foremost, I have a prayer request for all of you. A good friend of mine from years ago, Amanda Middleton Brimm lost her husband, Jeb, suddenly Monday to bacterial meningitis. What they thought was a simple sinus infection turned into her losing her husband in a matter of hours. They have a 3 1/2 month old baby girl, Sophie Grace. Please pray for Amanda and Sophie. This has been a burden all week for me. Just realizing how short life really is. I honestly cannot imagine being in that situation and know that I could not do it without knowing I had people praying for me. So please do this for Amanda.

The boys have been keeping us on our toes. The weather has been pretty decent and they both LOVE being outside! I am really excited about the summer and seeing them playing outside together and in the sprinkler and pool!

Here a a few pictures we took today:

Finally, a half-way decent shot Timmy took this afternoon!
Every time I take a picture this little one does this:
He is looking more and more like a boy and less and less like my baby...

A pretty good pic of the duo together.
This is what Ethan's hair looked like after his nap this afternoon. At least his eyes are open in this picture!

Just Hanging Around...

Noah fell inside his toy box the other night. Timmy was quick to grab the camera! He is learning about taking these pictures!

This is the ONLY way we can get Ethan to get anywhere near milk. A little messy, but worth it!
