It's Beginning to Look Alot Like...

CHRISTMAS!!!
Finally. Christmas shopping is completed and gifts are wrapped.
I finally decided to hang the stockings on the fireplace, instead of the bookshelves!
Noah got out of school at 10:00 this morning! Yay! Here he is working on his 2010 calendar project.

And this little boogar has a sinus infection. He is sleeping well, though!
Timmy and I both took off work yesterday to take Ethan to his LeBonheur clinic yesterday morning. We met with the specialist and nutritionist to go over Ethan's enzyme tests from the lab in Sacramento. The normal range for enzyme activity is > or = to 31. Ethan's level is 0.3. This confirms his diagnosis of 3mcc. All this means is that we continue to monitor his lab values every 3-4 months. Since he has never had any symptoms of the disorder, we are discussing possibly adding bacon to his diet! We will find out after his lab results from yesterday come back. Also, he now weighs 29 pounds! That puts him in the 50th% for his weight-which is GREAT news!!!
Hope everyone is getting ready for a very merry Christmas! We sure are!!!!

Catch Up!

It has been a L-O-O-O-O-N-G time since my last post. My computer crashed and had to be completely re-installed and it took a while for me to finally re-download all of my pictures! We have been busy, as usual...so, I am posting a few pics that I never posted last month!
Here Noah is with Ashtyn on Halloween. He thought he was big stuff!
Noah, posing with his Jack-O-Lantern this year! He decided he wanted to be a cowboy, again, and I thought that was a fabulous and free idea! Ethan dressed as a pirate, but chose not to participate in picture-taking...he was not a friendly pirate!
We got to see these guys for Thanksgiving! I LOVE Laura-Hays!!!!!!!!! She will love me even more for posting this picture!
The boys play together constantly! Sometimes, it does end up in a "he hit me/took my toy/will not play with ...etc...but, they are quick to fight and quick to love!

Ethan has gotten to where he wants to do everything his big brother does...including homework!
We have the Christmas decorations up, most of the Christmas presents bought and are ready for December 25th!!!!

The Greatest Bargain Ever!

I bought this Thomas the Train table, tracks, mountain and 10 trains for Ethan's birthday! I got it from a friend who's son never played with it for a FRACTION of the cost!

The boys love playing with it and only argue over trains sometimes...
If he would only open his eyes!

What a deal!!!!

We had a good time at the beach last week! Here are several pictures from our vacation:

Noah and Ethan enjoyed playing in the sand and working on their castle!

The great sassy search...Ethan's sassy flew right off the 9th floor balcony, never to be found again...

Look closely and you can see Ethan underwater. He constantly jumped in! He is such a fish!
Noah chilled in the pool on the float...
The boys thought this lizard was pretty neat...me, not so much...
My beach hunks:
The boys are currently working on carving their jack-o-lanterns. I will post pics soon!

War Wounds and Such...

Tuesday night I was in Jackson. I had my cell phone on vibrate. Timmy tried to call 10 times. My friend Heather had my phone and finally realized it was vibrating. I was talking to ladies about jewelry and Heather excused me to the front porch and told me I needed to call Timmy. I knew something was wrong. Needless to say, while running from the bath tub, Ethan ran smack into the door facing and a knot swelled up the size of a softball on his forehead! I was up most of the night watching him and making sure he was alright. He was fine. However, his face is not. Two days later, his eyes started turning black. We took him to the clinic and Rick said he is fine, but that he will look worse before he gets better. Worse? Can he possibly look worse than this????!!! I asked Rick if he needed to get his camera out to document for Ethan's chart before he called Protective Services. I honestly feel people staring at us when we are in public.

So, that is the drama for our week! Isn't it terrible??!!! I cannot believe my almost-2-year-old has a knot the size of Montana and 2 black eyes!

Okay, moving on. We took the boys to a football game here Friday night. We had a great time! The air-vac helicopter landed mid-field, and some friends of ours' daughter sang 'God Bless America' in remembrance of 9/11. The boys thought the helicopter was great! They both enjoyed the game and we got through all 4 quarters without one fit/meltdown/incident!

Timmy surprised me this week end and mulched the flower beds. I surprised him with Tennessee/Memphis State football tickets for the week end of November 6. We then surprised Poppa and Nanna by asking them to come spend the week end at our house while we are in Knoxville so they can take the boys to Fall Festival at Noah's school. Poppa then suprised all of us by agreeing to do so!!!!!

We have also decided this week end to go with Joy and the rest of Timmy's family to Gulf Shores for fall break. We were not going to go, but Joy really wanted us to this year, so we are working on reservations. I cannot believe we are going to the beach again...and I am looking forward to seeing the ocean!

Okay, I think I have updated everyone on what has been going on with our little family this week! Hope everyone is staying well...I have never seen so much flu and strep throat!!!!

Random Beach Randomness...

Maybe one day I will learn how to create a slideshow and post on my blog. For now, here are several more beach pics...
Ethan finally enjoyed playing in the sand...that's Noah's feet in the sand behind him...
Don't you just love Princess Bella's bikini?? LOVE IT!!
Noah loves ice cream. 'Nuff said.

Noah also loves his cousins first birthday party!

Ethan had a great time in Nanna's salon!

Princess Ava loved her birthday cake!

Here is Ethan playing with one of the girl's toys.
Noah is doing a great job explaining to Ava how to play with her new pig!
Princess Bella enjoying her cake!

Happy birthday Ava and Bella!
Notice how red Ethan's cheeks are? He was burning up on the dolphin tour! This picture is after his melt-down because he did not want to wear a life jacket. Notice they let him take it off.
Sweet Noah on the dolphin tour. No fit pitched by him! Here he is dutifully wearing his life jacket!
This is what Daddy did on the dolphin tour.
Ethan wearing Daddy's cap.

Another salon shot. Nanna in action in the background!
Hope you enjoyed the quick post!
