Noah Sayings...

Noah:"Mommy, I've decided not to get chicken nuggets and french fries at McDonald's anymore. I just saw a commercial and they have a new hambuger and it is big and it is for only a buck!" A discount shopper already...I am so proud!! ♥

Good Night Noah...

Noah and Ethan spent the week end at Poppa and Nanna's so that Timmy and I could get some birthday shopping finished (Yes. My baby will be 5 Wednesday). The original plan was for the boys to spend Friday night with Nanna and Poppa. Timmy and I had a great time shopping all over Jackson and then going to eat and to the movies. Saturday was very busy...Timmy finished the mulch, put together Noah's new, awesome, Tony Hawk bike-I will post pics after his birthday party-and some friends/family called and wanted adults only to go eat and to the movies. Could it be? Two nights in a row? Oh yes. Poppa and Nanna readily agreed to keep the kiddos for one more night. Needless to say, we left Tennessee early this morning to make it to church in Kentucky because we were missing the boys! Noah and Ethan had a great time and were exhausted. After sleeping all afternoon, we let the boys stay up a little later tonight. Which leads me to the highlight of my post and another Noah Saying:

After going to bed at 9:30

Noah (at 10:45 from his bed): "Daddy! Daddy!"
Timmy: "Yes, Noah? Are you still awake?"
Noah: "Yes. I have been playing paper, rock, scissors."

How cute is that!!!!????? It's gonna be a loooong night....

Ethan Check-Up and Other Total Randomness

We had Ethan's specialist check-up today and he weighs 22.8 pounds and is 32 inches long! His weight really jumped! He went from the 10th percentile last time to the 25-50 percentile in weight and from 50th percentile to 75-90th on his height! He did great! We will have to hear back from his labs before we know if his not drinking his formula is okay. ^Fingers Crossed^

We can't seem to figure out where all of Ethan's pacifiers have gone...they keep turning up in the most random places...

As does Ethan...

We ordered Noah several books from Usborne (my FAVORITE children's books!!!!!) So far, we have both really enjoyed The Emperor's New Clothes. That is such a cute book! I loved it when I was younger and Noah thinks it is hysterically funny! (Side note: I have to replace the word "stupid" in this book. Instead, "Not very smart people could not see the clothes").

Noah aka "Superstar" has a new preschool teacher *hallelujah*. After his first day of school with his 'new' teacher Noah came home and announced "Ms. Judy's as old as my Granny!" Hopefully, he only shared this thought with us yeah right.

First New Year's Accomplishments

So, we have started off 2009 with a bang: we are no longer giving Ethan a bottle. However, now he will not drink his formula. At all. It is as if he has finally discovered real good food and wants nothing to do with the medical formula! I've talked with his specialist, nutritionist and a nurse and they have all said that he will be fine. He continues to gain weight and eats a LOT...but it is really weird not giving him a bottle. He is also going to bed by himself. I just lay him in his crib, insert pacifier and off he goes...and he sleeps to 8, 9, or sometimes 10. I cannot believe it!

When our friends were at the house the other night, we came upon Noah and Tyler in deep discussion over my computer. My screen saver is all 1 billion of my pictures and Noah was very intently explaining every single one of them to Tyler. It is so funny to watch him have real grown-up conversations with other people. A woman asked him tonight if he would like some candy and he replied "No. My mouth is full." Oh-funny side note-the other day Noah asked me if he was wearing "brieves". I said, "brieves?" "Yes." he said. And showed my his underwear. How cute is that?????!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spaceshuttle Endeavor

After watching the take-off of the space shuttle Endeavor, the following dialogue took place:

Mommy: "Where is it going...the moon?"
Noah: "No, the spacestation."

That kid is going to make alot of money some day.

Noah Sayings

I forgot to mention on an earlier post: Noah is quite the comedian. His oldest joke, you might ask? "Q: What is a bear without socks? A: Bearfoot!" I think he copied Little Bill, but he doesn't mind.

The other day while Noah was sick he constantly tried to go in to Ethan's room where we were keeping Ethan and myself sequestered. Finally, I tried to explain that Ethan is a baby and babies have to go to the hospital if they get really sick. Noah, with the most serious expression on his face asked, "To bring back a little girl?" I didn't realize that Noah only associates the hospital with babies and seriously thought we would just go and pick up a sister. If that were the case, Nanna and Poppa would have gotten us that for Christmas 2 years ago!

I promise to post Halloween pics soon!

Have a great week!
