Nashvegas

Timmy and I decided to bring the boys and friends for a 2 day trip to Nashville for the end of Spring Break. We are staying next to the Opryland hotel and has an indoor swimming pool which they love. We ate at Johnny Rockets last night and played at Dave and Busters and earned a whopping 1600 tickets which was AWESOME. Today we are going shopping and back to arcade and maybe finish up tonight at the IMAX movie theater and watch the new Oz movie. We are having a great time!

Yes....It's True....

This is what I saw when I came out of the clinic Thursday.

What I am not showing you is a picture of the 12 dead roses I received.
I did, however, receive these cute balloons with 2 animals-one for each boy!

The best part? Timmy surprised me at the Spaghetti Store with my family and friends for a surprise party! I would have taken my camera, had I known, but I thought it was just us!
So, yes, I am 30. And yes. I hated turning 30. But, it really isn't so bad!

Easter Egg Hunt Fun!

We have had a very busy and fun week end! My computer crashed Thursday from spyware and I had it fixed over the past few days (thanks to Ronnie!) Here are several pictures from our Easter egg dying/hunt party Saturday!

Noah with his cousins:
Thank goodness for the red wagon! Ethan had a great time riding/being pulled/pulling and Easter egg hunting in it! He apparently likes the taste of plactic eggs. He found this egg in his front pocket.
An action shot of Noah and Daddy egg-dying (is that even a word?)!

Noah had a great time!
Ethan was a little excited, too!
This is only part one of our Easter egg hunt festivities! We are headed to Poppa and Nanna's for more Easter fun next Sunday, so I will post an Easter Egg Hunt Fun Part II next Sunday!

Lions and Tigers and Bears...Oh My!

Today Noah and I loaded up and picked Missy, Taylor and Trinity up and headed to the Memphis zoo! The weather was sunny and 65 and absolutely perfect for our day!

Noah could hardly see for his hat!

All of us-minus our photographer, Taylor!
Trinity and Noah checking out the pandas.

Noah posing in the barn. Notice his purple monkey? He picked his prize out first thing and wore it around his neck all day! If you are wondering what his monkey's name is, it is "Purpley".

Taylor, Noah and Trinity. Not 2 seconds after this picture was taken, Noah slid right off on to the ground. Takes after his mommy. Daddy is so proud.

Why are pandas just so cute!!??

And elephants are so ugly and strange looking?

The kids loved the polar bears and penguins.

Waiting for the polar bears to swim by...

We had a great time today. Minus 2 falls. Just a couple of scrapes, but otherwise fine! We are pooped!

p.s. Ethan stayed home with his granny. Mommy didn't think the zoo was the place for this 17-month old today! Here's a quick picture of him showing off his medals...he won 1st place in the pole vault today...

Where Noah leads...Ethan will follow...

Every Friday is full of the same activities. For mommy they include cleaning, laundry and chasing boys. For Noah and Ethan it is just another day for playing. However, Ethan has started following Noah everywhere. He always wants to be beside him, no matter what he is doing. Here are a few examples: In the chair sharing snacks.
The good thing is that Noah does not seem to mind it at all! He often refers to Ethan as "puffy cheeks" and if Ethan is somewhere else in the house, Noah will holler, "Puffy Cheeks! Where are you?" and here comes Ethan! Noah asks only 45 times a day when Daddy will be home. He is very much a daddy's boy and always wants Daddy to hurry home so he can scare him from his hiding place and then they can wrestle. Ethan has started joining in the fun...
Lunch time, yes in pajamas, and Ethan insists on sitting at the table not in his booster seat, but beside his brother...And finally Daddy is home and wrestling/chasing/madness continues!

Ahh....Fridays...it doesn't get much better than this!

My Two Sweeties...

Finally, everyone seems to have gotten over ear infections/head colds. Except for mommy. I actually got a sinus coctail shot today for the first time in my life!
Here are a few pictures of the boys over the past couple days. I have noticed that lately they are playing very well together. Especially with cars.

Ethan is such a happy boy! He is always in to something and always has a mischevious grin on his face!
Noah is always ready to 'pose' for the camera!

Such sweet boys....play together so well~most of the time!

New Year's Eve/Rock Band Stars

For New Year's Eve we had 16 people at our house and 8 of them were children. Tim and Kelly brought over Rock Band for everyone to play and we had a great time with it!

Noah the guitarist: (he sings, too!)

Missy, the singing star:

Tim-dayjob: policeman nightime job: rockstar

Noah and his cousins watching Kelly perform...and perform some more! Ronnie and Kelly singing a duet---such microphone hogs!

Too Young to Shave? Never!

We had Christmas with 4 of our closest friends and their families last Friday night. Noah received a SpongeBob shaving kit from Uncle Michael and Aunt Becky and we found he and his friend Tyler using it. Here are some pictures of Noah's first "shaving" experience!

They had a great time! Noah now wants to "shave" every time he brushes his teeth! We are starting early around here...

Brothers and Buddies

I took these pictures without the boys knowing it while they were playing in Ethan's room. I just love how these two play together. Thursday night Timmy and I were laughing because Ethan was playing in Noah's room with his toys and Noah was playing in Ethan's room with his toys. They are so good together and play so well!

Noah's Shout Out to Ian and Henry!

Due to the popular demand from the Farthing Boys, Noah is singing another song. If you listen really closely, you might be able to make out Noah saying, "Hi Henry...Hi Ian" at the beginning. He chose to sing to Ian and Henry "Send the Light" another one of his favorites! Also, he is waiting for his Poppa and Nanna to email his mommy a picture of Henry and Ian so he can put it in a frame in his room. Enjoy!

p.s. Sarah, if you provide all travel arrangements, I will discount my fee for his services...any time you need him...

Ethan Talking

Ethan talks all of the time. His new friend is his glow worm. Check out the in-depth conversation they are having:
