BIRTHDAY AT THE BURKS HOME

Happy 34th Birthday! Today Timmy turns 34. We celebrated with cupcakes and gifts. Noah and Ethan are the luckiest boys in the world...their Daddy is 34 and still this HANDSOME (and an awesome playmate). Happy Birthday Timmy (Daddy). We love you.

Summer Vacation

We had a great time in Gulf Shores this year! Noah swam very well with his swimmies and tried to convince Nanna to get in the deep end of the pool so he could teach her to swim too! I fought the urge to post pics of Poppa and Nanna in their very skimpy bathing suits. Hopefully one year all of the Noltemeyers and the Starks can get together for a huge fun and wild summer vacation at the beach!!!!!

Noah's First Day of Preschool

Noah is posing for his very first "first day of school" picture. He looks so grown up and handsome! Check out his Superman water bottle. He is so cool!

Yes it is true...Noah is in preschool. He goes to Sonshine Kids every Tuesday and Thursday. In the beginning, he did not want to go. He was very scared. At the introduction night his teacher introduced herself to Noah and all Noah said was, "Hey" then his bottom lip started quivering. That broke my heart. He cried for a couple of days, but now he loves school. He comes home telling all about the ones who do not stay on green light-which is always interesting conversation at the dinner table as I hold my breath and hope he is not one of them (so far so good). Noah is learning Bible memory verses and has started writing his name. I cannot believe my baby is in a structured environment...a school...full of germy stuff and people mommy does not know! Thankfully, Noah is in class with his favorite cousin Trinity. That helps! If I am this worked up over a 2-day preschool, can you imagine what kindergarden is going to do to me? Yikes!

Can you believe how big Ethan has gotten? 11-month stats: 19 pounds, 28 inches long. Ethan says "Daddy, Ma-ma, No-No, Na-Na, Bye-Bye" he waves, gives love and shakes his head NO. He has 4 teeth and is in to EVERYTHING---especially his brother's room!

I am so excited to be updating my blog! We finally ordered another computer and I have several updates! Many changes have occurred at our home over the summer. I stayed home with the boys for several weeks and am now working for a clinic 4 miles from home. I love my new job and I love being minutes from home! I will make several posts over the week end including our summer vacation, Noah's first day at preschool, Ethan walking (sort of)...and many other things! We believe in manual labor at the Burks House. Never to young to start washing vehicles...
Thelicense plate on the back of my truck may say Tennessee, but I know where my roots are...

No Internet!!!!

Hi everyone! Well, as most of you know, I am currently staying at home full time. I might go to work part-time, or for the schools, so I can be home more with the boys! So, I turned my laptop back in to work and currently do not have intecrnet, until we get another computer! So, hopefully I will be able to post pictures soon! Take care!

One Hot Mama!

Isn't my mom the hottest Nana, ever??!! She looks better and better every year! Even though David would say he is the favorite...especially now being the child having the twin baby GIRLS....it is the daughters (especially the oldest) that make Mother the happiest! Just look at her smile!!!!
