Couldn't Post About One and Not the Other!

Here is a picture I took of Noah watching Uncle David and Aunt Trina's first dance at their wedding a couple of weeks ago. He is looking more and more like a boy and not a baby...and even more like his daddy. ^Sigh^ So handsome!

One Year Specialist News for Ethan

Today Ethan had 2 scheduled dr. appointments. The first was at 10:30 with his specialist from LeBonheur and the 2nd was with his pediatrician at 1:10 for his one-year check-up and flu shot. Timmy has been off work so much this month with his kidney stone that he did not go today. The next best thing??? The Nanna. Poppa/The Judge is out-of-town this week, so Nanna came from KY to go with us to both appointments. It is a good thing...we waited for over 3 hours for our 20 minute appointment with the specialist and nutitionist. I had to change his pediatrician appt. to Friday, as we did not leave until 2:10! But, all that waiting paid off with some GREAT news! Ethan's blood work has been normal at each check up. So, we were told after his last appt. that we no longer had to measure his regular food. As long as he did not drink milk, and eat meat and eggs, he could eat as much as he wants. Well, depending on his labwork from today, our nutritionist told us that we might be possibly taking him completely off his medical formula and after more tests, depending on the severity of his organic disorder, they may completely lift his food restriction/diet, as well! That is an answered prayer! We just prayed that he would be healthy and we would be easily adjusted to his diet and food measurements...I never thought they would completely lift his food restriction! So, please pray that everything continues to go well for Ethan! We have been so blessed with both of our boys and continue to be prayerful that they both lead healthy lives.

Bathtub Cleaning Gone Wild

I was really on the other night, cleaning, doing laundry, cleaning and so on! I asked Timmy to bring the bleach and the Cascade powder so I could clean the tub in our bathroom. Why Cascade you might ask? I was told a couple of years ago that if you fill your tub up with water, add bleach and powder diswashing detergent, and turn the jets on that it cleans the tub. It has worked very well every time I have done this. Approximately 15 minutes after I started the jets and went to Noah's bathroom to SCRUB, Timmy asked Noah and me to "come here for just a second!" I knew something was up...and here is what awaited me in the bathtub. It took Timmy and Noah 30 minutes and tons of buckets of water to get this cleaned out. Next time...not so much Cascade!

Broken Neck? No Problem!

Yesterday, after Timmy's kidney stone removal, I decided to run Noah to the clinic to have his flu shot. I made the terrible mistake of telling him beforehand exactly what we were doing. He
declared that he was NOT going. So, we decided to take his backpack full of stuffed animals to be looked at, as well. When we got to the clinic, Rick checked all of the animal's heart beats. They were all fine. We presented the nurse, Rebekah, Squigward, Noah's stuffed animal with the broken neck (the stuffing somehow went to his head). So, Rebekah used a splint, gauze and medical tape and fixed Squigward right up. No more head aches!

Halloween Bat Crocs!

How cute are these?

Ethan is not a fan of shoes AT ALL, and I found these bat crocs on sale at Wal-Mart and could not resist! He actually wears them...
for a few minutes before ripping them off.

Boys Will Be Boys...

Before dinner I asked Noah to wash his hands. Ethan, of course, was right behind him on his way to the bathroom. They were in there for quite some time and being very quiet...never a good sign. When I snuck to check on them, I was greeted by Noah 'washing' Ethan's hair with the Bath and Body Works cucumber melon hand wash (courtesy of Nanna:)). Below is the turn out:

What's That?

Daddy: "Noah...what is that in the sky?"

Noah: "Just a rocket."
